November 7, 2011
Did you know that the WestlawNext iPad app has a great offline feature? Be productive like never before, even in places where you don’t have an internet connection. Whether you’re headed into a courtroom or onto an airplane, the WestlawNext iPad app is ready to go where you go. The latest Version 2.2.0 includes enhancements that allow you to:

- Save documents to an offline folder
- Read documents while offline
- Add notes and highlighting while offline
- Automatically sync annotations once your iPad is back online
Preparing to Work Offline
Documents can be saved for offline reading and annotating. While you are viewing a document online, click the Tools button and select Save Offline. The document will be saved in the Offline folder.
You may also save documents offline from your folders.

Working Offline
Access your offline documents at any time by clicking the Offline button in the footer of the app. When you lose internet connectivity, you will be able to access your Offline folder to read and annotate your documents.

Once your internet connection is restored, the annotations you made to documents in the Offline folder will automatically be synced to the online version of the documents.
