The annual meeting of the Association of Corporate Counsel kicked off yesterday in San Antonio – and we at Thomson Reuters are very excited to again be attending this fantastic four-day event, which happens to be the largest global gathering of in-house counsel from around the world.
The ACC annual meeting provides a great opportunity to discuss the unique challenges faced by in-house counsel, earn CLE/CPD credit, and see what’s new from over 100 different legal service providers.
This year’s theme is aptly named “Be more than legal counsel. Be the solution,” encouraging legal departments to make the most of the resources they have in-house to effectively resolve issues and to work efficiently with outside counsel.
Here at Thomson Reuters, we couldn’t agree more. “Our alliance partnership with the ACC is truly invaluable,” says Eric Laughlin, VP of Corporate Segment Marketing at Thomson Reuters. “The annual meeting is a great opportunity for us to hear directly from our customers on what issues are of greatest concern. The knowledge we gain really allows us to make our products and services better meet the needs of in-house counsel.”
In addition to being a part of the conversation, West is showcasing a number of our newest tools for in-house counsel, including WestlawNext, Westlaw Litigation Resources, Compliance Solutions, Public Records, GC Solutions and Forms products.
We are also raffling off 10 awesome prizes to those attendees who view a demo – just visit booth #225 to learn more!
The annual meeting also gives us the opportunity to announce the newest member of the Thomson Reuters family – Serengeti Law, the leading legal matter management and e-billing system enabling legal departments to track, control, manage, analyze and report on legal activities worldwide. Make sure to learn more about Serengeti Law at the ACC meeting by visiting booth #334. And while you’re there, you can learn more about the ACC annual survey results!
